Lady Danusia Trotman-Dickenson
EMERITUS PROFESSOR OF ECONOMICS
Settling in the UK after leaving Poland during World War II, Danusia Trotman-Dickenson developed a passion for economics which she studied in many British institutions, before retiring as a Professor of Economics at the University of Glamorgan, now the University of South Wales. She also founded the Welsh Heritage Schools Initiative, and was its Chairperson for 14 years. Her late husband was Sir Aubrey Fiennes Trotman-Dickenson, Principal of Cardiff University.
