Angela Gidden MBE

FURNITURE DESIGNER, DESIGN CONSULTANT, CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Angela Gidden MBE is a highly established UK award-winning designer. She is the founder and owner of Angela Gidden Studio and attic 2 furniture.

She is a Consultant Creative Director to a number of her multi-million turnover, manufacturing clients, developing their brands, product, marketing and creative strategies for U.K and international growth. Her commercial creative experience spans over 34 years in three-dimensional design with a principal discipline in contemporary furniture design. Angela has designed and collaborated with U.K and international brands such as Heal’s, The Conran Shop, Liberty of London, Habitat, Orangebox, Camira and many more.

One of the founding entrepreneur role models for the Welsh Government’s Big Ideas Wales project, she is also a design education and business mentor and an industry and public speaker. An Honorary Fellow of Cardiff Metropolitan University (2002), Angela was also awarded the MBE in 2007 for services to design and business in Wales.
