Bethan Darwin
SOLICITOR & FOUNDER OF “SUPERWOMAN”
Bethan Darwin grew up in Clydach Vale in the Rhondda and went to Ysgol Gynradd Ynyswen and Ysgol Gyfun Rhydfelen. She studied law at Kings College London. She is a solicitor and partner at law firm Thompson Darwin, specialising in employment law and corporate law. Her clients are primarily business people and businesses of all sizes.
Bethan runs women’s networking group Superwoman, writes a bi-weekly column for the Wednesday business section of the Western Mail called Law and More and is a regular contributor on BBC Wales. She sits on the advisory board of Cardiff Business School and in October 2019 was appointed chair of independent think tank, the Institute of Welsh Affairs.
In any spare time, Bethan writes easy reading fiction and has three novels published by independent publisher Honno, called Back Home, Two Times Twenty, and Thicker than Water.
