Dilys Price

SKY-DIVER, FOUNDER OF TOUCH TRUST

Retired Cardiff-based teacher Dilys Price, known now as “Daredevil Dilys”, made her first parachute jump at the age of 54. She has now completed more than 1,139 jumps for charity, raising tens of thousands of pounds for charitable causes, and currently holds the Guinness World Record as the Oldest Female Sky Diver. During her time as a teacher, she worked with specialist schools to help children in wheelchairs take part in sports and dance, and in 1996, she also founded The Touch Trust from her kitchen table in Cardiff, which soon grew into a renowned centre for movement education (called ‘touch therapy’) for people with autism, dementia and profound disabilities.
