Trudy Norris-Grey

GENERAL MANAGER, MICROSOFT, CHAIR OF WISE (WOMEN IN SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING)

Kathryn Trudy Norris-Grey began her life in Morriston, Swansea, as the seventh of eight children. After studying for a Business Studies degree at the Polytechnic of Wales (now the University of Glamorgan), her career developed quickly into senior marketing and international roles. She became President of Sun Microsystems in 2005, and in 2008 she was appointed Chair of WISE (Women in Science, Engineering & Technology), a position she still holds, which campaigns to encourage more girls and women to pursue STEM career paths. She joined Microsoft as MD of Central and Eastern Europe in 2012.
